We want you to be comfortable but prepared for photos! We are calling the dress code for the reception "Cocktail Attire" The dress code for the Rehearsal Dinner is casual.

Well, you will be in Georgia, so who knows??? High temperatures between 65 and 75 degrees. Low temperatures between 40 and 50 degrees. But the ceremony and reception will be in an open-air pavilion, so be prepared!

Times are approximate except for the ceremony! Guests arrive by 3:30 pm. Complimentary transportation available to those whose accommodations are within 3 miles of Forest Lodge. Wedding ceremony 4:00 to approximately 4:30 pm. Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Dinner Served 6 pm. Festivities until approximately 10:30 pm. You are welcome to plan an After party at the Lake Rabun Hotel bar if want to continue to celebrate!

Yes, absolutely! A Children's meal option will be available however, they are welcome to choose any entree they would prefer.

Yes, the entire hotel venue is reserved for our celebration. Mention you are visiting for the wedding of Elaine & Shannon. There is no discount code required. There are also a number of homes for rent in the area through Airbnb and VRBO.

The hotel does not allow pets in any rooms, however, three of the 2 bedroom "Fish Camp Cottages" are pet friendly. So if you plan on bringing your pooch, book early!

The Lodge, which is where the ceremony and reception take place is a short drive, about one "country mile", from the hotel. Complimentary parking is available at Lake Rabun Hotel and at The Lodge. Transportation will be provided for anyone who would prefer NOT to drive after the festivities. Please be safe!

Lake Rabun Hotel & Restaurant and the Forest Lodge are located in Lakemont Georgia in Rabun County.
